RESUMEN: Después de la construcción de una carretera, es de esperarse que los contenidos de agua de los materiales varíen dependiendo de las condiciones ambientales que se presenten en el sitio, por tanto, dicho efecto deberá tomarse en consideración al llevar a cabo el diseño de la estructura. En este artículo se muestran algunos resultados de pruebas de módulo de resiliencia de probetas que fueron compactadas en condiciones óptimas y posteriormente secadas o humedecidas para determinar en qué grado el módulo de resiliencia se incrementó o se redujo. Además, se presenta el comportamiento del Mr en el espacio de compactación haciendo uso de las curvas de isovalores. Los resultados corresponden a una arcilla y a un limo de alta compresibilidad (CH y MH). SUMMARY After the construction of a highway it is expected that the water content of the compacted materials which constitute it will change because of the variations in the environmental conditions. Thus, this condition must be taken into account when carrying a pavement design. This paper shows the results of resilient modulus of samples that were compacted at optimum conditions and then were subjected to drying or wetting paths so that the increase or reduction of resilient modulus could be observed. In addition, it is shown the variation of resilient modulus by showing the isolines of resilient modulus in the compaction space. The results correspond to high plasticity clay (CH) and a high plasticity silt (MH).
