RESUMEN: En el Poniente de la ciudad de México se construye un desarrollo habitacional; durante la excavación del proyecto se presentó el deslizamiento de un talud después de una precipitación pluvial ocasionando atrasos en la obra y la interrupción de la circulación en la vialidad lateral de la Autopista México-Toluca. Se presenta la información geotécnica disponible, el proyecto de estabilización y el análisis de las posibles causas del deslizamiento, así como las recomendaciones necesarias para monitorear la zona y reanudar el proyecto.
