RESUMEN: En este artículo se propone un método de análisis simplificado para calcular la capacidad última ante momento de volteo de las celdas estructuradas de cimentación. Una celda estructurada está constituida por una losa tapa y muros perimetrales, sin losa de fondo. El método simplificado propuesto considera la geometría tridimensional de la celda, la resistencia del suelo puramente cohesivo y que existe continuidad estructural entre losa y muros, a lo largo de los muros y en los contactos entre muros. El método propuesto se desarrolló a partir de los resultados de un exhaustivo análisis numérico tri-dimensional y de evaluar un mecanismo de falla para una combinación de fuerzas externas: Vertical (V) y Horizontal (H), y Momento de volteo (M).
