ABSTRACT: Permafrost degradation poses growing risks to long-term development in northern Canada. This study applies a regional-scale assessment to map thaw settlement hazard in the Slave Geological Province. The resulting map highlights areas of varying thaw settlement susceptibility and supports climate-informed planning in this region. This approach shows how available geoscience data can be integrated to inform regional hazard screening and infrastructure development.
